City of Hawarden issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
It’s that time of year again! The Hawarden Chamber is accepting nominations for this year’s Citizen of the year! You can recognize someone for being an outstanding Citizen of Hawarden by nominating them. We are now taking nominations for the 2019 Citizen of the Year!
Candidates must:
– have had a Hawarden address for at least 5 years
– receive the nomination for non-job related tasks
– can not have been a Citizen of the Year as an individual (if they were a part of a group that received the Citizen of the Year award, they can be nominated again as an individual)
To nominate someone email the Chamber at chamber@cityofhawarden.com why your candidate should be the Citizen of the Year!
