City of Rock Valley issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
The City of Rock Valley will be placing a CARDBOARD ONLY recycling dumpster at 1651 14th St. (formerly known as De Kam Oil & Tire).
Dates: December 11- December 31st.
The City would like to emphasize this is a recycling dumpster for cardboard only. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BREAK DOWN THE CARDBOARD PRIOR TO PLACING IN THE DUMPSTER. No wrapping paper, plastics, packing paper, foam etc.... CARDBOARD ONLY AND NO GARBAGE!
If the forecast is for inclement weather the dumpster will be removed until the weather clears.
The dumpster is for City of Rock Valley residents only. Failure to abide by the above rules may result in the recycling privileges being revoked.
