City of Rock Valley issued the following announcement on Dec. 25.
City of Rock Valley Holiday schedule for Garbage & Recycling:
Christmas:
Garbage- west side- normal Wednesday pickup scheduled for Dec. 25th will be on Thursday, Dec. 26th.
Recycling- west side- normal Thursday pickup scheduled for Dec. 26th will be on Friday, Dec. 27th.
New Years:
Garbage- west side- normal Wednesday pickup scheduled for Jan. 1st will be on Thursday, Jan 2nd.
Recycling- east side- normal Thursday pickup scheduled for Jan. 2nd will be on Friday Jan. 3rd.
Normal Garbage & Recycling pickup schedules:
Garbage pickup
-east side of Rock Valley is every Tuesday
-west side of Rock Valley is every Wednesday
Recycling pickup:
-east side of Rock Valley- 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month
-west side of Rock Valley- 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month
