City of Lake Park issued the following announcement on Ape. 16.
Dickinson County Food Pantries are continuing to serve clients during the COVID-19 outbreak, but have slightly changed the way in which they are doing so. In order to abide by the guidelines set by the CDC and authorities, the pantries are still serving while adhering to social distancing. Pantries are also considered essential and will continue to operate. The following list is accessible at https://www.dickinsoncountyhunger.com/covid19-update. If you need assistance getting food from a pantry, please enter your request at https://iglcoronarelief.org.
Bedell Family YMCA Community Table – Free Meal – 1900 41st Street, Spirit Lake, IA 51360
- Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm
- Process: Staff will bring a to-go meal out to you. Pick up is on the north side circle drive near the character center.
- Available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8-12pm.
- Call and/or order the day before to get your delivery in time.
- Process: Call or enter the grocery order at your local HyVee and pay. Then call and set up delivery with RIDES at 712-240-0990 and ask for grocery delivery. Then confirm the order pick-up with HyVee and list RIDES can as the pick-up of your order.

- You will be connected to a local volunteer to assist you with your assistance request.

- For qualified free and/or reduced lunch students a breakfast and lunch meal via grab and go is available.
- Pick-ups take place from 8-9:15 am at the food service loading dock on the south side of the Elementary/Middle School building.
