Dordt College issued the following announcement on May 12.
Dordt University continues to monitor updates from the governor regarding opening/closing specific businesses. Recreation CenterDordt’s Rec Center is now open to the public with some restrictions. Restrictions include:
Guests must enter through the south entrance and check-in at the front desk.
Guest must abide by CDC guidelines regarding social distancing at least six feet apart.
All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Available areas:
The community weight room will be limited to no more than 10 users at a time.
The aerobics room, locker rooms and showers, and racquetball courts are closed.
Basketball hoops are limited for single use or immediate family use only.
No reservations for courts or equipment will be accepted at this time.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.Saturday: 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.Sunday: Closed John and Louise Hulst LibraryDordt’s library will remain closed to the public at this time. Dordt Campus StoreThe Dordt Campus Store is closed until further notice. Defender Nation can shop online at bookstore.dordt.edu.
