City of Orange issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Residents are encouraged to be good neighbors with backyard firepits. Firepits are allowed for recreational use only and must be attended at all times. Please extinguish the fire when leaving. Please also consider your neighbors who may desire to have open windows to enjoy fresh air.
