Cost of college went up for all students at Dordt College

Tuition and fees rose 2.8 percent for 2018-19 at Dordt College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Iowa students paid $30,840 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $840 more than the $30,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 394 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.8 million and 261 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,564), 1,146 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.6 million, and 810 students took out $5.2 million in federal student loans.
