Census Bureau: More women than men in Orleans in 2019

Of the 469 people living in Orleans in 2019, 53.3 percent (250) were women and 46.7 percent (219) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NW Iowa News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 135-to-95. In the 65 and over age range, there were 91 females and 118 males.
