City of Spencer issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
The City of Spencer will be conducting a localized door-to-door survey. The results from the survey will determine the City’s eligibility to apply for an Iowa Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). If awarded, grant will be used to help finance a combined sewer separation project. The primary benefit area of the proposed project is generally along East 4th Street and East 5th Street between 5th Avenue East and 10th Avenue East. City staff will collect the necessary survey information from the residents in this area starting Wednesday, December 1st. Your participation in this confidential survey is greatly appreciated.
