Spencer Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Want to help feed others without cooking? Do you enjoy driving? Would you love to put a smile on the face older adults and make their day? Need something to do on your lunch break? Want to volunteer, but don’t have a lot of time? If you answered yes to any of these, we may have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
We are currently in need of volunteers to help deliver meals in Spencer to homebound older and disabled adults. This program is so important to the food security of the recipients and we need YOUR help to get them delivered to those who rely on these delicious, hot, and nutritious meals. Typical times for this volunteer opportunity are from 11-12 Monday thru Friday.
