Northwest Iowa Community College recently issued the following announcement.
Jeff Kollbaum, outgoing foundation board member, was honored for his years of service and commitment to the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation Board during its annual meeting, held on January 31, 2022.
During his final meeting as a foundation board member, Kollbaum was honored for his achievements relating to NCC. He served from 2013-2022 and was active with outreach in the Marcus area. He also assisted with outreach for the NCC General Obligation Bond, and was very involved in the Everyone Knows Someone Who Chose NCC capital campaign. Kollbaum resides in Marcus and is the location manager at the Marcus Cooperative Farmers Elevator.
The NCC Foundation Board is comprised of eighteen members, fourteen of whom represent each public school district in NCC’s service territory, two members from the NCC Board of Trustees, and three retired NCC Presidents. The mission of the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation is to attract and manage financial resources, enhance awareness of the College, and to support access to lifelong learning opportunities.
