Orange City Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Orange City Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Iowa lost 392 soldiers in the Korean war and 533 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 510 8th St SE, Orange City will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Sioux Center Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Orange City Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Orange City Ace Hardware is located at 510 8th St SE, Orange City, Iowa. This location is owned by Kenneth C. Kopetsky and represented by Anne Drury.
