Mary Putze, Moville, has been awarded the Alethea F. Stubbe Scholarship for Leaders by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation. This $1,000 scholarship recognizes individuals who possess the qualities which will prepare them for leadership roles in the future. Mary is an Associate of Arts student at NCC.
This scholarship is in honor of Alethea Stubbe. Stubbe began at NCC in 1991 as an instructor in the Administrative Secretarial program. Through her own leadership skills, she advanced to Vice-President of Administration and then Vice-President of Education and Learning Services. In 2011, Stubbe became the President and remained in that role through 2021.
