Dordt University will host the Arts in the Prairie event on Saturday, October 1, from 3 - 4:30 p.m. The event will include live music, a bake sale, face painting, prairie ecology, and more. Dordt students, faculty, and the local community are invited to celebrate music, visual arts, and God’s creation in the Dordt prairie.
Arts in the Prairie is an opportunity for the community to experience Dordt in a new way.
“The Dordt Prairie and all that our campus offers in terms of creativity should not be a best kept secret,” music professor John MacInnis says. “It is meant to be shared!”
The event offers something for everyone to enjoy. It “helps people with different backgrounds and talents to interact, learn, and appreciate art made by God and by us,” said Sara Tinklenberg, a senior environmental student.
Please join us in the prairie to celebrate the art and beauty that God has given us.
