2021 has 2.2% of Emmet County residents unemployed

Emmet County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 107 people out of the 9,433 living in Emmet County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Emmet County has decreased compared to the 3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Emmet County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.

Of the 4,774 people who had a job during that time, 5 were employed in the Armed Forces and 4,769 belonged to the civilian labor force.
