Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared updates on his recent activities and legislative priorities through social media posts on November 18, 2024.
In a post from November 18, Feenstra highlighted his participation in the annual "#36CountyTour," which included visits to Carroll County. During this tour, he conducted a roundtable discussion with employees at Northwestern Mutual and visited the Elderbridge Agency on Aging. He emphasized that "Meeting with Iowans & taking their suggestions back to Congress remains my top priority."
Later that day, Feenstra advocated for the repeal of what he termed the "Death Tax." He urged for legislative action by stating, "We need to pass my Death Tax Repeal Act to #AxeTheDeathTax for good and end unfair, double taxation!"
In another post on the same day, Feenstra expressed support for border security measures in collaboration with President Trump. He outlined plans to restart construction on the border wall and reinstate policies such as "Remain in Mexico." He affirmed his commitment to border security by declaring that "Republicans will work with President Trump...to fully fund our border patrol agents who put their lives at risk to defend our borders."
