On November 18, 2024, Rep. Feenstra announced that his Military Academy Selection Board convened to evaluate candidates for the nation’s service academies. He expressed gratitude for the board's dedication and extended thanks to outgoing members Terry Seehusen, Theresa Hildreth, Chad Reece, and Liz Doll for their service. "Today, my Military Academy Selection Board met to review candidates for our nation’s service academies."

Later that evening, Rep. Feenstra voted in favor of the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. The legislation aims to enhance healthcare services for veterans, address veteran homelessness, and bolster support for veterans residing in rural areas. In another legislative action on November 19, 2024, Rep. Feenstra supported a bill mandating that ballots mailed for federal elections include a unique U.S. Postal Service barcode. This measure is intended to improve election security by ensuring accurate tracking and counting of every legal vote cast during elections. "Earlier tonight, I also voted for legislation to require that ballots mailed for a federal election include a unique U.S. Postal Service barcode."
