Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district, recently shared several updates on his legislative efforts via social media. Feenstra has been active in Congress since replacing Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On November 20, 2024, Feenstra announced his introduction of the Improving Brain Health in Schools Act. He stated that the act aims to connect students with brain health support at schools to help them reach their full potential. "I introduced the Improving Brain Health in Schools Act so that our schools can provide our kids w/ the brain health treatment that they deserve."

Later that day, Feenstra highlighted the passage of the Farm Bill by House Republicans six months prior. He criticized Senate Democrats for delaying its progress while emphasizing Republican efforts to provide relief for farmers and producers. "Did you know that @HouseAgGOP passed the Farm Bill 180 days ago?"

In another update on November 20, Feenstra expressed his collaboration with Senator Fischer and Representative Bice to assist small businesses in offering paid family and medical leave (PFML) to employees. He underscored PFML as essential when welcoming a newborn or dealing with medical conditions preventing work. "I'm glad to work with @SenatorFischer and @RepBice to help small businesses offer paid family and medical leave (PFML) to their employees."
