Rep. Randy Feenstra, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th District since 2021, recently expressed his concerns and initiatives through a series of tweets. These statements addressed key fiscal and agricultural issues impacting the nation.

On December 3, 2024, Rep. Feenstra highlighted a critical financial milestone, stating that "Just 118 days later after our nation topped $35 trillion, our country surpassed another sobering milestone – $36 trillion in debt." He emphasized the necessity to "balance our budget to get our fiscal house in order" here.

The following day, on December 4, he shared his collaborative efforts with colleagues and local entities regarding navigation aids on the Missouri River. He mentioned leading a letter urging the U.S. Coast Guard to reconsider its decision concerning ATONs removal: "Today, alongside 8 of my colleagues & 53 local businesses, organizations, and leaders, I led a letter urging the U.S. Coast Guard to reconsider its decision to remove 36 ATONs on the Missouri River north of Blencoe, Iowa." His emphasis was on maintaining "a strong Missouri River" here.

In another post on December 4, Feenstra turned his attention towards agriculture policy by advocating for a comprehensive Farm Bill. He stated: "American farmers and producers need a five-year Farm Bill that delivers certainty and relief for agriculture." He assured constituents of his continued efforts by saying he would keep pushing for this legislation to be enacted swiftly here.
