Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, shared a series of tweets on December 5, 2024, addressing key issues relevant to his constituency and national interests.

In his first tweet, Rep. Feenstra emphasized the importance of the Missouri River for economic development in Western Iowa. He stated that the river supports "the timely transportation of manufactured goods and ag products" and called on the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to continue investing in it for the benefit of Iowa. Later that day, Rep. Feenstra tweeted about his efforts to secure funding for ongoing projects at the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City by including them in the Future Years Defense Program. He underscored the wing's significance to both the economy and national security, stressing that these projects must receive necessary funding. "Today, I led a letter requesting that ongoing runway and ramp projects at the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City be included in the Future Years Defense Program."

In another tweet from December 5, Rep. Feenstra took a moment to acknowledge his colleague, Rep. Kelly Armstrong from North Dakota, who announced his retirement from Congress. He expressed appreciation for their collaborative work over the years and extended well wishes for Armstrong's future role as Governor of North Dakota."Last night, I spoke on the House floor to congratulate my friend — @RepArmstrongND — on his retirement from Congress."
