Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, has expressed his views on economic and national security issues through a series of tweets. Feenstra, who replaced Steve King in Congress, previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On December 12, 2024, Feenstra tweeted about his commitment to working with President Trump and colleagues from the Ways and Means Committee to enhance the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. He stated: "My @WaysandMeansGOP colleagues and I will work with President Trump to reauthorize and build upon the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. By delivering tax relief to our families, farmers, and businesses, we can reignite the American economy!"

Later that day, Feenstra addressed concerns over national security related to foreign land ownership. In a tweet posted at 14:06 UTC on December 12, he shared: "We can’t keep letting China undermine our national security by buying up our farmland. That’s why I introduced an amendment to the Lower Energy Costs Act — which passed the House last year — to BAN China from buying American farmland suitable for domestic energy production."

In another post made at 16:06 UTC on December 12, Feenstra reiterated his focus on economic growth through tax policies. He tweeted: "The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act unleashed economic opportunity for our families, farmers, and businesses. Working with Chairman @RepJasonSmith and my @WaysandMeansGOP colleagues, we will cut taxes, fight inflation, and rebuild our economy so that every American can succeed."
