On January 23, 2025, Rep. Feenstra announced that he and his office assisted Spencer Community Schools in securing nearly $2 million for flood recovery and cleanup efforts. He expressed optimism about the funds helping students return to classrooms and anticipated the full reopening of the schools. "I’m glad my office & I could help Spencer Community Schools secure nearly $2 million to support flood recovery & cleanup efforts."

Later that day, Feenstra mentioned that Wes, his Agriculture and Manufacturing Liaison, attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Hawarden Community Food Bank. The event was sponsored by the Hawarden Chamber of Commerce, and Feenstra noted that the food bank had already served 82 families recently. In another post on January 23, 2025, Rep. Feenstra supported former President Trump's decision to re-designate the Houthis as terrorists while criticizing President Biden's previous actions regarding this issue. "President Trump is completely right to re-designate the Houthis as the terrorists that they are."
