Randy Feenstra, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has been active on social media discussing recent legislative actions and commemorative events. Feenstra replaced Steve King in Congress and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On January 27, 2025, Feenstra shared that he voted for the Laken Riley Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. The act included his legislation with Senator Joni Ernst, known as Sarah’s Law, as an amendment. He emphasized the necessity for illegal immigrants who harm or kill Americans to be detained and prosecuted. "Last week, I voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, the Laken Riley Act, which included my legislation with @SenJoniErnst – Sarah’s Law – as an amendment."

Later that day, Feenstra announced securing over $300,000 for Palo Alto County Drainage Districts to repair damages from flooding in 2019 after nearly six years of delays. He encouraged constituents to contact his office for federal assistance requests. "After nearly six years of delays, I’m thrilled that I could help Palo Alto County Drainage Districts secure more than $300,000 that they needed to repair damages from flooding in 2019."

Additionally, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Feenstra reflected on the Holocaust's tragic history and urged continued efforts against antisemitism and hateful ideologies worldwide. "On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the more than six million innocent Jews who were senselessly murdered."
