Randy Feenstra highlights key agricultural and political events impacting Iowa

Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district, has shared a series of tweets highlighting recent activities and developments related to agriculture and business in Iowa, as well as national appointments. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in 2021, continues to focus on agricultural policies and community recognition.

On January 30, 2025, Feenstra mentioned that his caseworker Ann spoke at the Custom Harvesters Conference in Des Moines. He emphasized the significance of agriculture to Iowa's economy and stressed the urgency of passing the Farm Bill. He stated: "Today, my caseworker — Ann — spoke at the Custom Harvesters Conference in Des Moines about the importance of agriculture to Iowa."

In another tweet from January 30, Feenstra noted that his Agriculture and Manufacturing Liaison Wes attended an event in Spencer. He wrote: "Yesterday, my Agriculture and Manufacturing Liaison — Wes — attended the Iowa Lakes Business Corridor Recognition Luncheon in Spencer with more than 265 of our neighbors." The event recognized several businesses for their contributions to local communities.

Later on January 30, Feenstra congratulated Doug Burgum on his confirmation as Secretary of the Interior under President Trump. He tweeted: "Congratulations to @DougBurgum on being confirmed to serve as President Trump’s Secretary of the Interior!"
