Randy Feenstra discusses farm bill and receives health center advocate award

Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, shared a series of tweets on February 6, 2025, addressing various issues important to his constituents. On February 6, 2025, Rep. Feenstra met with Sam Showalter, a farmer from Franklin County. The discussion focused on several critical topics for the agricultural sector in Iowa's 4th district. Feenstra emphasized the importance of passing the Farm Bill and expanding export markets. Additionally, he stressed the need to boost demand for Iowa-produced biofuels. "Yesterday, I met with Sam Showalter — who grows corn and soybeans and custom feeds hogs in Franklin County — about issues important to #IA04 agriculture.

Later that day, Feenstra expressed his gratitude to Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lamb and Staff Sergeant Hiroya Jordan for presenting his office with the seal of the United States Marine Corps (USMC). He acknowledged their service and recognized all men and women in uniform for their dedication to the nation. In another meeting on February 6, Rep. Feenstra engaged with representatives from the Iowa Primary Care Association (@iowapca) to discuss rural healthcare challenges. During this event, he received the Distinguished Community Health Center Advocate Award. Feenstra reiterated his commitment to ensuring affordable healthcare access for families in rural Iowa through his work on the Ways and Means Committee. "Today, I met with @iowapca to talk about rural healthcare and was honored to receive the Distinguished Community Health Center Advocate Award."
