Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Representative for Iowa's 4th district since 2021, has recently communicated several initiatives and legislative actions through his social media posts. The congressman, who succeeded Steve King and has a background in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, highlighted his ongoing efforts related to border security, veteran support, and tax legislation.

On February 10, 2025, Feenstra stated his commitment to working with former President Trump on border security measures. He shared that he voted for the HALT Fentanyl Act aimed at reducing drug trafficking into Iowa communities. Additionally, he mentioned that President Trump signed "Sarah’s Law," which is designed to hold illegal immigrants accountable. "Like Iowans voted for, I’m working with President Trump to secure our border."

Later the same day, Feenstra announced a job opportunity within his office aimed at supporting veterans and Gold Star Families. He expressed a desire to hire someone with military ties as a liaison between federal government services and veterans in the region. "I’m looking to hire a veteran or Gold Star Family member to work in one of our #IA04 offices."

In another post on February 10th, Feenstra discussed collaborative efforts with Chairman Jason Smith and colleagues from the Ways and Means Committee. The group aims to extend provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for American families and businesses. "My @WaysandMeansGOP colleagues and I are working to extend and build upon the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act."
