Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district, shared several updates on social media regarding recent legislative activities and state governance. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, has been vocal about various policy issues impacting his constituents.

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Feenstra highlighted the passage of a significant piece of legislation by the House GOP aimed at combating drug trafficking. "Last week, @HouseGOP passed the HALT Fentanyl Act to keep deadly drugs out of our communities and empower law enforcement to intercept this poison targeting our children and loved ones." He emphasized ongoing collaboration with former President Trump to enhance border security efforts.

Later that day, Feenstra expressed gratitude towards Iowa's governor for their initiatives to improve state government efficiency. "Thank you, @IAGovernor, for doing even more to make our state government leaner, stronger, and more accountable to Iowa taxpayers." He suggested that federal entities could adopt similar fiscal strategies practiced in Iowa.

In another post on February 10th, Rep. Feenstra discussed energy policy related to biofuels in his district. "Homegrown #IA04 biofuels support American energy security & independence." He mentioned leading an initiative urging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support year-round access to E15 fuel nationwide and maintain robust standards for renewable fuels.
