Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th District, shared updates on his legislative activities and political positions through a series of tweets this week. Feenstra has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Steve King. He previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On February 14, 2025, Feenstra announced the introduction of his Death Tax Repeal Act and highlighted his votes aimed at protecting border patrol agents from violent illegal immigrants. Additionally, he stressed the importance of passing the Farm Bill to support farmers and producers. He expressed his commitment by stating: "I'm honored to serve #IA04 families, farmers, and businesses in Congress!"

In a subsequent tweet dated February 15, 2025, Feenstra extended gratitude towards former President Trump for establishing the National Energy Dominance Council under Secretary Burgum's leadership. He emphasized the council's role in maximizing domestic energy resources with American oil, gas, and biofuels: "Thank you to President Trump for establishing the National Energy Dominance Council!"

Later that day on February 15, Feenstra thanked both President Trump and Lee Zeldin for supporting congressional authority over California’s electric vehicle mandates rather than leaving it to "radical bureaucrats." He took a clear stance against what he termed as the Biden waiver: "We must STOP the Biden waiver and let the American people choose the best vehicle for them!"
