Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th District since 2021, shared his thoughts on various historical and current events through a series of tweets. Feenstra, who replaced Steve King in Congress and previously served in the Iowa Senate, used the social media platform to commemorate significant moments and express his stance on ongoing issues.

On February 20, 2025, Feenstra commemorated the Battle of Iwo Jima by stating "80 years ago today, the Battle of Iwo Jima began. Nearly 7,000 U.S. Marines gave their lives and roughly 20,000 were wounded after weeks of combat. May we never forget their sacrifice, courage, bravery, and valor in defense of our country and our freedoms."

Later that day, he addressed a tragic incident involving young victims of terrorism by tweeting "Kfir and Ariel Bibas were just 9 months and 4 years old when Hamas kidnapped them. They were later murdered by these vicious terrorists. So was their mother, Shiri. Hamas is an organization of monsters that must be totally defeated."

In another tweet from February 20, 2025, Feenstra mentioned collaborative efforts with fellow lawmakers to address agricultural challenges: "Alongside @SenJoniErnst and Senator @ChuckGrassley, I led an identical letter with 22 of my House colleagues to @SecRollins. I look forward to working with the Trump administration to combat this bird flu outbreak, lower egg prices, and support our farmers and producers."
