Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, shared a series of tweets on February 20, 2025, detailing his activities and views. Feenstra has been an active political figure since replacing Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On February 20, Rep. Feenstra announced the commencement of his fifth biannual tour across all counties in his district. He stated, "Today, I officially launched my th biannual #36CountyTour with a town hall in Cherokee!" During this event, he engaged with nearly 25 constituents discussing topics such as tax policy, border security, energy production, agriculture, and biofuels.

Continuing his tour on the same day at another location, Feenstra held a town hall meeting with students at OABCIG School District. In his tweet about this stop he mentioned that it was part of helping students prepare for their government class test scheduled for the following day: "On my second stop of today’s #36CountyTour..." He also addressed student inquiries regarding cellphones in schools and various educational policies including FAFSA and Pell Grants.

In another post later that day, Rep. Feenstra expressed support for former President Donald Trump's commitment to building a border wall: "Promises made, promises kept!" He asserted that these actions would contribute to making the country safer and stronger.
