Rep. Randy Feenstra, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently shared updates on social media about his legislative activities and community engagements. His posts highlight a bill he sponsored to assist foster children, as well as his involvement in a congressional event with constituents.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Feenstra announced via Twitter that he had spoken on the House floor regarding his proposed legislation aimed at connecting foster children with families. The bill passed without opposition. "Earlier today, I spoke on the House floor about my bill to connect more foster kids with loving families," he stated.

Later that same day, Rep. Feenstra celebrated the passage of his bill through the House of Representatives in another tweet: "Today, my bill to connect more foster kids with loving homes and caring families UNANIMOUSLY passed the House of Representatives." He expressed gratitude towards fellow representative Steve Scalise for commemorating this milestone with a cookie cake and emphasized the next step: getting the bill signed into law.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Feenstra highlighted an upcoming joint address by President Trump to Congress in which he invited guests from Iowa's farming community: "I’m thrilled to have Brad Moline and his daughter Ava as my guests for President Trump’s joint address to Congress." He praised Ava's entrepreneurial spirit in running a turkey business and noted her contribution to what makes Iowa unique.
