On March 5, 2025, Feenstra expressed his dedication to supporting veterans following a meeting with the Iowa Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He stated: "It was an honor to meet with #IowaVFW today. In Congress, I will continue to work to ensure that our veterans receive the high-quality healthcare, benefits, and support that they have earned and deserve."
