Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th District since 2021, recently shared several updates on social media regarding his legislative efforts and community engagement. Born in Hull, Iowa, Feenstra has been active in public service for many years, having previously served in the Iowa Senate.

On March 10, 2025, Feenstra emphasized the importance of expanding export markets for farmers in Iowa's 4th District. He expressed support for legislation introduced by Representative Dan Newhouse to increase funding for the Market Access Program (MAP) and Foreign Market Development (FMD). "Opening new export markets for #IA04 farmers is critical to increasing demand for Iowa ag products and putting more money in the pockets of our producers."

Later that day, Feenstra reflected on his recent visit to Sioux City as part of his fifth biannual "36 County Tour." During a town hall meeting with local residents and business leaders, he discussed key issues such as passing the Farm Bill and extending tax relief measures from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. "Last month, my 5th biannual #36CountyTour brought me back to Sioux City for a town hall with local community members & business leaders."

In another post on March 10, Feenstra acknowledged the support of West Virginia Representatives Carol Miller and Riley Moore for cosponsoring his Death Tax Repeal Act. He stressed the need to eliminate this tax to provide financial relief to family farms and small businesses in both Iowa and West Virginia. "I appreciate my colleagues from West Virginia — @RepCarolMiller and @RepRileyMoore — for cosponsoring my Death Tax Repeal Act."
