On March 12, 2025, Feenstra announced the passage of a bill aimed at connecting foster children with families. He stated, "Last week, my bill to connect more foster kids with caring families unanimously passed the House of Representatives. As a father of four, I believe that every child deserves a loving family to call their own."

Later that day, Feenstra highlighted another legislative achievement related to immigration law enforcement. He mentioned the recent enactment of the Laken Riley Act by President Trump, which includes Sarah’s Law—his contribution to detain and prosecute illegal immigrants who harm or kill Americans. He asserted on March 12, 2025: "6 weeks ago today, President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law, which includes my bill — Sarah’s Law — to detain and prosecute illegal immigrants who harm or kill Americans. Illegal immigrants who commit crimes against U.S. citizens will be held accountable!"

In another post dated March 13, 2025, Feenstra emphasized the urgency of passing comprehensive agricultural legislation. He expressed concern for farmers and producers needing support and stability by stating: "We need to pass a five-year Farm Bill as soon as possible to deliver relief and certainty for our farmers and producers."
