Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district since 2021, recently shared updates on his legislative activities and congratulatory messages via social media. Feenstra has been active in Congress following his service in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On March 12, 2025, Feenstra expressed his congratulations to Lisa Shimkat of Fort Dodge for her appointment as Associate Administrator of Field Operations for the U.S. Small Business Administration. He highlighted her previous leadership in Iowa where "the Iowa SBDC assisted more than 24,000 entrepreneurs and small business owners." "I want to congratulate, Lisa Shimkat from Fort Dodge, on her appointment as Associate Administrator of Field Operations for the U.S. Small Business Administration."

Later that day, Feenstra thanked colleagues from Illinois for cosponsoring his Death Tax Repeal Act. He emphasized the need for this legislation by stating that "family farms and small businesses across Iowa and Illinois need Congress to #AxeTheDeathTax & end this unfair double tax on American business and agriculture." "I thank my colleagues from Illinois — @RepLaHood, @RepBost & @RepMaryMiller — for cosponsoring my Death Tax Repeal Act."

In another post on March 12, Feenstra advocated for the passage of his ACRE Act aimed at lowering interest rates and making capital more accessible to families, farmers, and businesses in rural communities. He stated that "our farm producers need relief," emphasizing the importance of this legislation for rural areas. "We need to pass my #ACRE Act to lower interest rates and make capital more affordable and accessible for our families, farmers, and businesses — especially in rural communities."
