Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 4th district, shared a series of tweets on March 13, 2025, highlighting his legislative efforts and expressing gratitude towards specific groups. Feenstra, who replaced Steve King in 2021 and has been an active political figure since his time in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, discussed topics ranging from biofuels to national security.

On March 13, 2025, Feenstra emphasized the importance of expanding markets for biofuels as a means to boost demand for agricultural products from Iowa. He stated: "Growing new markets for biofuels is crucial to increasing demand for Iowa ag goods & putting more money into the pockets of our producers." He mentioned introducing legislation alongside Representative MMM to promote biodiesel use in maritime transport.

Later that day, Feenstra addressed a tragic incident involving Sarah Root, a young woman killed by a drunk-driving illegal immigrant in 2016. He noted: "In 2016, a drunk-driving illegal immigrant killed 21-year-old Sarah Root." He expressed relief over the arrest of the perpetrator in Honduras and highlighted President Trump's signing of "Sarah’s Law," which aims to detain and prosecute criminals who harm or kill Americans.

Additionally, Feenstra recognized National K9 Veterans Day on March 13 by expressing appreciation for service dogs. In his tweet he wrote: "Today is National K9 Veterans Day." He acknowledged their role in supporting troops and law enforcement while protecting communities.
