There was one Native American student enrolled in Emmet County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 50% less than the previous year, according to the Iowa Department of Education.

Data showed that Emmet County welcomed 1,290 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Native American student comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the four schools in the county, North Union High School recorded the highest enrollment of Native American students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of one students.

Public school enrollment in Iowa remained relatively stable in the 2024-25 school year, with 480,665 students, a slight decrease of 0.63% compared to the previous year.
