Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared several updates on social media recently. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King and has served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, highlighted legislative accomplishments and expressed gratitude towards constituents and collaborators.

On March 17, 2025, Feenstra acknowledged President Trump for enacting "Sarah's Law." In his tweet, he stated: "I thank President Trump for signing my bill — Sarah’s Law — into law in memory of 21-year-old Sarah Root who was killed by a drunk-driving illegal immigrant. Illegal immigrants who harm or kill American citizens will be detained and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Later that day, Feenstra addressed trade issues between Brazil and the United States regarding ethanol tariffs. He tweeted on March 17, 2025: "Brazil charges American ethanol with an 18% tariff while we only charge Brazilian ethanol with a 2.5% tariff. Talk about uneven and unfair. I appreciate President Trump for working to level the playing field and deliver for American ethanol producers and our corn farmers!"

The following day, March 18, 2025, coinciding with National Ag Day, Feenstra took the opportunity to commend local agricultural workers. In his tweet, he wrote: "On #NationalAgDay, I want to thank our hardworking #IA04 farmers and producers for feeding and fueling our country and the world. These men and women work long hours, help power our economy forward, and make important contributions that keep our rural communities strong."
