Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district, has been vocal on several issues via his social media platform. His recent tweets address topics ranging from rural emergency response to electric vehicles and tax legislation.

On March 20, 2025, Feenstra shared his insights on the importance of investing in rural emergency services. Drawing from his experience as a former volunteer EMT, he emphasized the need for prompt responses when Iowans call 911. He expressed support for the PARA-EMT Act, which aims to assist rural communities in recruiting and retaining paramedics and EMTs. "As a former volunteer EMT, I know that we need to invest in rural emergency response to ensure that, when Iowans dial 911, first responders are on scene ASAP."

Later that day, Feenstra turned his attention to electric vehicles (EVs), expressing skepticism about their cost and reliability. He highlighted concerns over the sourcing of EV battery components from China and advocated for E-85 flex fuel vehicles as an alternative that supports local farmers by using homegrown fuels instead of foreign batteries. "Electric vehicles are expensive and unreliable."

On March 21, 2025, Feenstra acknowledged Maryland Representative Andy Harris for cosponsoring his Death Tax Repeal Act. He argued that this legislation is crucial for family farms and small businesses in both Maryland and Iowa, urging Congress to eliminate what he views as an unfair double tax burden. "I appreciate my colleague from Maryland — @RepAndyHarrisMD — for cosponsoring my Death Tax Repeal Act."
