Rep. Randy Feenstra, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 4th district, has been vocal on several key issues through his recent tweets. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, shared his perspectives on legislative matters affecting rural America and policies related to immigration and taxation.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Feenstra expressed his concerns regarding the Farm Bill. He emphasized the need for a new five-year Farm Bill to provide relief and certainty for producers. Feenstra criticized Democrats for blocking approval of the HouseAgGOP-passed Farm Bill last year, stating that "Democrats repeatedly turn their backs on Rural America," while asserting that "Republicans stand up for Rural America."

In another tweet dated March 22, 2025, Feenstra extended gratitude towards the Trump administration for extraditing an illegal immigrant responsible for Sarah Root's death back to the United States. He highlighted President Trump's signing of Sarah’s Law earlier this year, which mandates that illegal immigrants who harm or kill Americans will be detained and prosecuted. "I thank the Trump administration for extraditing the illegal immigrant who killed Sarah Root back to the U.S."

Further addressing tax-related issues on March 22, 2025, Rep. Feenstra acknowledged his colleagues from Idaho—Mike Simpson and Russ Fulcher—for cosponsoring his Death Tax Repeal Act. He stressed that farmers and small business owners in Idaho and Iowa require congressional action to abolish what he described as an unfair double tax permanently. "Idaho and Iowa farmers and small business owners need Congress to #AxeTheDeathTax"
