Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa's 4th district, has been actively discussing agricultural policies and initiatives through his social media posts. His recent tweets highlight legislative efforts and support for farmers in his constituency.

On March 22, 2025, Feenstra tweeted about the Farm Bill passed by the House Agriculture Committee last May. He stated, "Last May, @HouseAgGOP passed the Farm Bill. We strengthened crop insurance, increased reference prices, and supported trade programs — all with the American farmer in mind. Senate Democrats refused to work with us. Now, we will work with President Trump to pass the Farm Bill."

Later that day, he introduced another initiative aimed at supporting young farmers through a tweet posted on March 22, 2025. He mentioned his proposed legislation: "My Crop Insurance for Future Farmers Act is an investment in the next generation of #IA04 farmers. By lowering the cost of crop insurance for our young producers, we can preserve our cherished farm traditions and keep China away from our farmland."

In a subsequent post on March 24, 2025, Feenstra urged dairy farmers to enroll in Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) before the deadline at their local FSA office. He wrote: "With the enrollment period quickly coming to a close, I encourage #IA04 dairy farmers to sign up for Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) by the March 31st deadline at their local FSA office. Please contact our office by phone at 202-225-4426 if we can be helpful."
