Representative Randy Feenstra, an incumbent Congress member from Iowa's 4th District, shared a series of important updates via Twitter. Feenstra, 54, who has been representing Iowa in Congress since 2021, addressed both national and personal matters in his recent posts.

On March 27, 2025, Feenstra announced that his office successfully obtained six military medals and pins for the late Edward Motz, a World War II veteran. According to the tweet, the medals were presented on Monday to Edward's sons, Denny and Robert Motz, and his grandson, Curtis Motz, by Wes, a member of Feenstra's staff.

Later that day, Feenstra posted another tweet on March 27, 2025, expressing his vote against foreign influence in American institutions. He stated that he voted to keep the Chinese Communist Party and other foreign entities out of universities, emphasizing the need to prevent "foreign organizations that want to harm the U.S." from gaining influence in educational institutions. The complete text of the tweet can be found here.

In another update on the same day, Feenstra mentioned the passage of Congressional Review Acts (CRAs) by the House GOP aimed at overturning certain mandates from the Biden administration concerning refrigeration equipment. Announcing the passage via tweet, Feenstra highlighted the Republican efforts to reduce costs for families and assist small businesses by overturning these "burdensome Biden-era mandates."
