In a series of recent posts, Representative Randy Feenstra, serving Iowa's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared insights from his meetings concerning agriculture, tax policy, and conservation. As an advocate for Iowa's substantial agricultural production, Feenstra often discusses initiatives and policies impacting his constituents and the broader rural community.

On March 26, 2025, Feenstra addressed his meeting with the Iowa Farm Bureau, emphasizing the necessity of enacting the Farm Bill and addressing #Prop12. He also highlighted the importance of supporting biofuels, advocating for pro-growth tax policies, and the opening of new export markets. He noted, "I enjoyed meeting with the @IowaFarmBureau about the need to pass the Farm Bill, end #Prop12, promote biofuels, support pro-growth tax policies & open new export markets. By the size of this group, you can tell that #IA04 is the 2nd largest ag-producing district in the country!"

Later that day, Feenstra reported on discussions with the Iowa Institute of Cooperatives. In a March 26, 2025 post, he focused on the extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, particularly the 199A deduction. He asserted, "It was great to sit down with the Iowa Institute of Cooperatives to talk about tax policy. We all agree that we must extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including the 199A deduction on qualified business income. Pro-growth tax policies strengthen our economy & rural communities."

On March 26, 2025, Feenstra described his meeting with the Conservation Districts of Iowa, where they deliberated on voluntary conservation practices. Applauding local farmers, he communicated, "It was a pleasure to meet with the Conservation Districts of Iowa to discuss the importance of voluntary conservation practices in rural Iowa. #IA04 farmers and producers are the best stewards of our land and implement proactive strategies to protect our water and soil."
