Randy Feenstra, serving as a U.S. Congressman for Iowa's 4th district, continues to address agricultural and infrastructure concerns through his recent initiatives. His recent social media posts highlight his active involvement in educational developments and legislative proposals aimed at supporting farmers and local economies.

On March 27, 2025, Feenstra reported that the Regional Director, Jim, was present at the ceremonial start of construction for the forthcoming Career Ag Academy in Webster City. According to Feenstra's post on that day, "This educational facility will help students pursue a career in agriculture, learn valuable skills, and gain hands-on experience in the industry."

Later, on the same day, Feenstra addressed the logistical challenges faced by perishable agricultural products due to inadequate cold-chain storage. He outlined in his post, "Perishable ag products face barriers to foreign markets because of a lack of cold-chain storage. I introduced the FRIDGE Act to construct needed refrigeration infrastructure so that #IA04 farmers can ship their goods without worrying about spoilage."

On March 28, 2025, Feenstra elaborated on the significance of the Missouri River facilities in facilitating nationwide and global trade of various goods. Feenstra expressed contentment with the Coast Guard's decision in his post by stating, “I’m glad the Coast Guard heard the concerns of our Western Iowa community and will keep 36 ATONs in place.”
