Representative Randy Feenstra, serving Iowa's 4th district since 2021 in the United States Congress, has expressed his views through a series of tweets on important issues affecting Iowa and the nation. Rep. Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, previously served in the Iowa Senate for over a decade. With a background in education from Dordt University, he is recognized as a prominent voice in agricultural and national security matters.

On April 2, 2025, Feenstra tweeted his agreement with former President Trump's position, stating, "I completely agree with President Trump that we must ban China from buying our farmland. That's why we must pass @SenJoniErnst and my FARMLAND Act to review purchases of American farmland by foreign entities and protect our farms and agricultural production from China!" This aligns with ongoing legislative efforts such as the FARMLAND Act which he is working on alongside Senator Joni Ernst.

Later the same day, Feenstra emphasized the urgency of passing a comprehensive Farm Bill saying, "We need to get a five-year Farm Bill signed into law as soon as possible. Agriculture is the backbone of the Iowa and American economy. Our farmers and producers need stronger crop insurance policies, a tighter farm safety net, and more export markets for their goods." This underscores his commitment to bolstering agricultural policy to support the economic stability of Iowa and the broader United States.

In a subsequent tweet, Feenstra paid tribute to fallen American soldiers, stating, "Our nation mourns the loss of the four brave American soldiers who answered the call to serve our country. Staff Sgt. Jose Duenez, Jr., Staff Sgt. Edvin F. Franco, Pfc. Dante D. Taitano, and Staff Sgt. Troy S. Knutson-Collins will forever be remembered and honored." This tweet reflects national sentiments of respect and remembrance for those who have served in the military.
