Randy Feenstra, U.S. Representative for Iowa's 4th district, shared several policy-related updates and initiatives via tweets on April 8, 2025.

In his first post, Feenstra addressed potential tax implications for Americans: "At the end of this year, the average American will face a 22% tax hike, or about $1,600, if the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expires." Feenstra emphasized the efforts by him and his Ways and Means GOP colleagues to maintain these cuts to support families, farmers, and businesses.

Later in the day, Feenstra announced legislative successes, noting that "Last week, the U.S. House unanimously passed two of my bills to keep partisan politics out of the IRS & hold the IRS accountable to #IA04 taxpayers." He stressed the importance of providing American taxpayers with efficient customer service and fair outcomes in tax filings.

Touching on housing policy, Feenstra expressed his commitment to improving affordable housing resources: "We need to enact smart strategies to expand the housing supply & bring down prices. I’m glad to work with my @WaysandMeansGOP colleague, @RepLaHood, to introduce the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act to improve incentives in the tax code to build more affordable housing."
