Randy Feenstra, a current U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district, has been actively addressing various economic and agricultural issues through his social media platform. His endeavors reflect his continued commitment to his constituents since taking office in 2021, succeeding former congressman Steve King. Feenstra has also served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021.

On April 9, 2025, Feenstra expressed urgency regarding tax policy, stating, "The clock is ticking. We need to extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to prevent a massive tax hike on the American people and unleash the full potential of our economy. Our families, farmers, workers, and small businesses need tax relief as soon as possible."

During a hearing with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer on the same day, Feenstra highlighted the importance of broadening export markets for agriculture in Iowa's 4th district. He noted, "Today, during a @WaysandMeansGOP hearing with @USTradeRep Jamieson Greer, I emphasized the need to open new export markets for #IA04 agriculture. We need to look all over the world — from the U.K. to India to Kenya — for new trade opportunities for our farmers and producers."

Feenstra also discussed the significance of 1031 exchanges with the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. He stated, "I had a great discussion with the Federation of Exchange Accommodators about protecting 1031 exchanges for the good of our economy and rural communities. 1031 exchanges allow our small businesses to grow and our farmers to pass their farmland onto the next generation." Feenstra's focus on these issues reflects his commitment to economic growth and support for small businesses and rural communities in Iowa.
