Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Representative for Iowa's 4th District since 2021, shared his legislative focus through a series of tweets on April 10, 2025. With previous service in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, Feenstra highlighted his ongoing efforts in Congress to implement economic and agricultural policy changes.

On April 10, 2025, Feenstra shared his commitment to extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act under the leadership of Speaker Johnson. He emphasized that such extensions aim to provide tax relief for American families, farmers, workers, and small businesses. He noted the importance of passing a budget resolution promptly to ensure that the entire agenda of the former President Trump can be enacted into law.

Later that day, Feenstra addressed the necessity for a new five-year Farm Bill, highlighting the needs of rural Iowa farmers. He called for stronger crop insurance protections, increased reference prices for corn and soybeans, and the development of new export markets for high-quality agricultural products. Feenstra and his colleagues on the House Agriculture Committee remain committed to advancing this Farm Bill.
