Representative Randy Feenstra, currently serving Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared several updates on social media regarding his legislative and constituent activities.
In a tweet from April 10, 2025, Feenstra announced, "ICYMI: On Wednesday April 23rd, our office will host a 4th District Military Academy Day in Fort Dodge for #IA04 students – 8th grade through 12th grade – interested in applying to one of our nation’s five military academies."
On April 11, 2025, Feenstra shared his legislative efforts by highlighting a recently introduced bill, "Yesterday, I introduced legislation to reauthorize the Genome to Phenome Initiative, which supports research into plant genetics, like corn, to determine how to increase yields & make crops more resilient. This is a strong investment in #IA04 agriculture!"
Further on April 11, 2025, Feenstra referenced an engagement with trade regulations, stating, "This week, during our @WaysandMeansGOP hearing, I thanked @USTradeRep Jamieson Greer for including Germany's unfair withholding tax on IP on USTR's list of investment barriers in the National Trade Estimate. We must ensure fair treatment of American businesses across the globe."
Feenstra, born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, continues to be active in his role representing Iowa’s 4th District, which he began in 2021 after his tenure in the Iowa Senate from 2009. He is a graduate of Dordt University, having completed his studies in 1991.
