On April 15, 2025, Feenstra mentioned that Wes, his Ag and Manufacturing Liaison, attended "the Northwest Iowa League of Cities meeting in Orange City." The meeting featured Tim Moerman, Director of Planning and Visioning from Beck Engineering, who discussed the "importance of strategic planning for towns."

Later that same day, Feenstra shared that his caseworker, Ann, participated in the "Veteran Service Officer Spring School in Johnston." During the event, "County VSOs received training & learned about new VA policies & procedures at the state and federal level." Feenstra expressed his commitment to ensuring that "our veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned."

On April 16, 2025, Feenstra addressed the issue of adoption accessibility for Iowans.
